Overview

This add-on module for The PoyaData Calling Card Solution makes calling even easier!  Dial-around long distance became popular during the 90’s.  Dial-around services are most commonly recognized by 1010 phone numbers.  Traditionally, they were dialled prior to making a long distance call.  Using a 1010 number would circumvent a traditional long distance carrier and place the call through the 1010 number.

Most calling cards on the market today are completed through two-stage dialling.  The first stage of two-stage dialling is when a call is placed and the system will attempt to authenticate the PIN number or caller ID.  The second stage of two-stage dialling is when the destination number is actually dialled.

In a 1010 one-stage call, the 1010 number is dialed followed by the destination number ~ making authentication and authorization occur in one stage.  The PoyaData 1010 one-stage calling solution saves time and money!

bullet Users dial 1010 number and then the destination number

bullet Through the use of ANI authentication (caller ID) the system authentication the user

bullet The system then separates the 1010 number and the destination number and will send the destination number to the VoIP carrier

bullet The PoyaData system is then able to define the country & area code and calculate the appropriate rates

bullet The call charges are then forwarded to the carrier

bullet The user’s telco company bills for the call(s) on their regular monthly statement
